Account Setup and Login

Learn how to set up your account and log in to Wayvo.

Default Admin Account

By default, an admin user with the username "admin" is created with a chosen password during the installation or sign-up for a cloud workspace. This admin account has full access to all features and settings in Wayvo.

Steps to Set Up Your Account

During Installation

1. Run the Docker Compose File

   • Follow the installation guide to run the Docker Compose file.

2. Set the Admin Password

   • During the installation process, you will be prompted to choose a password for the admin user.

For Cloud Workspace

1. Sign Up for a Cloud Workspace

   • Visit the Wayvo sign-up page.
   • Fill out the sign-up form with the required details.
   • Choose a password for the admin user during the sign-up process.

2. Confirm Your Email

   • After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email.
   • Click the confirmation link in the email to verify your account.

Logging In

Admin User Login

1. Visit the Wayvo Login Page

   • For local installations, navigate to http://localhost:your-port.
   • For cloud workspaces, navigate to the URL provided in your sign-up confirmation.

2. Enter Admin Credentials

   • Username: admin
   • Password: The password you chose during installation or sign-up.

3. Access the Dashboard

   • After entering your credentials, click "Login" to access the Wayvo dashboard.

Additional User Accounts

Creating New Users

1. Log in as Admin

   • Use the admin account to log in to Wayvo.

2. Navigate to User Management

   • Go to the settings menu and select "User Management".

3. Add New User

   • Click on "Add User" and fill out the required details, including username, email, and password.
   • Assign appropriate roles and permissions to the new user.

User Login

1. Visit the Wayvo Login Page

   • Navigate to the Wayvo login page as specified above.

2. Enter User Credentials

   • Enter the username and password provided by the admin.

3. Access the Dashboard

   • Click "Login" to access the Wayvo dashboard with the assigned user permissions.
